ABR Viewer – Convert PS Brushes to PSP Brushes!

This program was never meant for converting brushes between Photoshop and Paint Shop Pro, but some genius minds figured out that you can! (and no, not me).

There are lots of wonderful brush sets for photoshop in the web… too many to install them all just to see what they look like! now you can have the preview of a set without having to install it…

How To:

This quick how-to will show you how to install brushes. It can be time consuming, depending on how many brushes your installing.

Step 1: First download and extract your PS brushes (Google might help finding brushes).

Step 2: Open ABR Viewer and go to File > Load Brush Set and find your .abr brush file and click OK.

Step 3: Go to Export > Thumbnails and choose a location (I choose the folder with the .abr brush in it). Then drag the brushes you want to use into Paint Shop Pro.

Step 4: These brushes are pretty small, but you gotta make sure your brushes are smaller with 1000×1000 pixels. Then go to File > Export > Custom Brush and name it the name of the .abr brush (you don’t need to, it’s just good to). Your done!!

While you can’t use VTS plugins (if it did this would be the best audio editing tool ever that’s free), this program rocks. Small, lightweight, and a clean easy to use user interface, this is my favorite audio editing tool.

Voodoo Camera Tracker – Free Program

Like the summary says, this program lets you easily add 3D objects into real time footage (from your video camera).

There’s a great tutorial here, from TheGuruHouse.com, that explains how to do this in Blender 3d. I’ve done it before, works fantastic. If I ever find out how to export it as a video, I’ll make my own tutorial for it and add it here.

Wavosaur – Free Audio Editing Program

What makes me love this program is VTS support. You can have this free program or them most expensive professional program out there, and VTS plugins work the same. If you only bought the most professional program to use some VTS plugins, you wasted your money, because this program can run them also. I haven’t found my VTS plugin yet (a free one anyway), but I’m sure there’s something out there.

Though I prefer Audicity for recording (another free opensource audio recording/editing program, though its more for recording) because it has a better interface for it, this program looks good for more advanced editing.,
