Sorry for the lack of posts lately, we've been very busy, but we got some video tutorials coming your way. We plan to try and get this site back up and running! And we're still looking for writers, so please think about contributing!

Introducing SemiProApps!!

I’d like to introduce to you SemiProApps.com, a sister site to SemiProtuts.com and the newest site under Snedekerdesignz.com. You might have noticed a few changes around, such as the links on the top, these are the current SemiPro sites we run. Next you’ll notice the Forums link, you can now get help on the forums or post your creations.

SemiProApps.com is a free app/software blog. We post all the good free programs you can get, anything useful and awesome, will be on there. It’s new so go and give us a push by making the site active, posting comments, or posting programs. You can also post on the SemiProApps.com forums (click the forum link on SemiProApps.com menu) and recommend software you want us to feature.

Make Chubby, Cute, and Cartoony Cars!

Step 1

Open a image of a car (the side photographs are much easier) and duplicate the layer. Hide the top one and move to the bottom one. Press D on your keyboard and drag the right node over to the left to distort the image.

Step 2

Hide the bottom layer, select and unhide the top layer, and erase everything but the wheels and fenders (and leave some areas surrounding the wheels).

Step 3

Now unhide, but don’t select, the bottom layer. Use the selection tool to select each wheel and move it above the smaller/squished wheels. Depending on your picture, the wheels should fit right into the spots. But don’t be temped to stop here.

Step 4

Use the eraser tool (put hardness up to 70%-100%) and erase the surroundings. Don’t erase the wheels or fenders. You’ll notice a huge difference, there’s just no way to show this on a text tutorial; so compaire the previous image to the next one.

You’ll notice big differences right behind/in front of the fenders.
