How to use Photoshop Plugins in Paint Shop Pro

In this Tutorial I am going to show you how to use Photoshop plugins with Paint Shop Pro. It’s really fantastic, and enables you to do a lot more.

There are two ways to install a plugin, and it depends on the plugin itself. The plugins that have installers with them are easy, just change the install directory from Photoshop to Paint Shop Pro (C:/All Programs/Corel/Paint Shop Pro/Plugins). Continue along with the install screens until it’s done, then launch Paint Shop Pro and use your plugin! (Effects > Plugins).

The other way is to drag the Photoshop Plugin file (normally a .8bf file) and copy it to the C:/All Programs/Corel/PaintShopPro/Plugins folder.

I hope you have fun downloading and installing Photoshop plugins! I’ve gotten some really useful ones (such as the Nvidia Normal Map Plugin) and I don’t need GIMP anymore to use plugins!
