Step 1
Launch VideoStudio and add the “The End” title preset. You can see which one I choose below and how it looks.
Step 2
Now I made the text Arial, and made that bold. I liked it better then the default font Arial Bold, because it wasn’t quite as bold. Size doesn’t matter, don’t bother with it. We only need to work on the style.
Now let’s remove the crummy border.
And let’s make a nice, techy, simple drop shadow glow using these settings:
We now have pretty awesome text. It fades in and out. Sweet.
Step 3
Great. Render the video out in your desired format. For this tutorial I am going with a more simpler Non-HD setting that’s quicker.
Now delete what’s in your timeline and insert your rendered video unto Overlay Track 1. Now you can see why I told you size didn’t matter. You can make it any size you want! I’m leaving as it is, but aligning it to the left.
Step 4
Now, in the attribute tab, use these two settings (highlighted):
Now play back your video. You can see it comes in from the left and at the same time fades in. I am also going to add a Black color block and make the video fade out by dragging the Color block over the video (and if it isn’t crossfade you can add it from the Effect tab).
Step 5
So I render my text again and am finished! You can play around with it. If you want to make it different speeds, select the clip and drag the handles that appear under the video preview. To make it slower, drag the first one over to the right, like this:
Here’s my preview, hope you enjoyed this tutorial.
