Old, Static Text Effect in CVS X3
Today I’m gonna you how to make a old, static text effect, in Corel Video Studio X3. It’s a really simple technique that has a really cool effect. CVS X3 introduced a new feature which lets you put video filters right on titles, so with a few drag and drops, tweaks and changes, we can make some great text effects!
Preview

Step 1
Open a new CVSX3 project file. Switch into Time Line mode and right click on the tracks and choose “Track Manager”. Select “Title Track 2″ and click OK.


Step 2
Insert any title track (your favorite) into Title Track 1 and click the blue options button. Go to Attribute, click Animation, and un-check Apply.


Step 3
Click the Filter button, and the thumbnails above change to video filters. Drag the following three filters unto your title track, in order. Then use the following settings.

Oilpaint:

Mirror:
Default Settings
Old Film:

Step 4
Now apply the same title to Title Track 2, re-doing step 2.
